The New York Knicks have retired a total of nine jersey numbers in franchise history. It is the ultimate team honor, as these numbers hang in the rafters of Madison Square Garden. Here we'll be taking a look at each one.

1. Walt Frazier (No. 10)

Frazier was a key member of the Knicks' two NBA championship teams in 1970 and 1973. He was a seven-time All-Star and was named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team seven times. Frazier's jersey was retired in 1979.

2. Willis Reed (No. 19)

Reed was the captain of the Knicks' championship teams in 1970 and 1973. He was a seven-time All-Star and was named to the NBA's All-Defensive First Team five times. Reed's jersey was retired in 1984.

3. Earl Monroe (No. 15)

Monroe was a four-time All-Star and was named to the NBA's All-NBA Second Team three times. He was known for his flashy style of play and his ability to score from anywhere on the court. Monroe's jersey was retired in 1985.
